If you know me, you know green smoothies are my thing. Such goodness in a large glass (small glass used for photo:)) that makes you feel SAH good! Well because of this loving desire, I have experimented A LOT and this is BY FAR my FAVORITE green smoothie I have ever made! Straight DREAM MACHINE!! 1-2 large Kale cubes (recipe below) 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder (My fave is Spiru-tein) Frozen mango chunks 2 Tbsp. Kalifia Farms almond milk creamer in vanilla (optional, but SO good) Blue Diamond (my fave brand) almond milk unsweetened, Original Add as much almond milk and frozen mango as you want until desired consistency! I like my smoothies pretty runny so I add a lot but I always make a 32 oz smoothie! ALSO we use a Vitamix and this is KEY to a great smoothie! Nothing compares! Kale cubes: 2 bunches or about 14 leaves of kale blended with about 1/4c coconut water and juice of one lemon then frozen into an ice cube tray!
***Kale cubes adopted from @earthyandy Enjoy!!

I'm not kidding that I've been asked this over 20 times now since I posted it on Snapchat and I give a very short answer since I've been asked so much! So here's the detailed answer as to why I quit working at the local hospital: PS-This is weird for me to post since I literally have never "quit" a job before. They either went out of business or I moved! Enjoy anyway:)
What does this mean for nursing school???
This question always surprises me. I am of course still pursuing nursing as a career and will finish nursing school. With the reasons listed above, I just don't find it worth it to work as a CNA anymore. As a nurse, you are treated as an employee a lot better with much better compensations. You make a lot more, get extra per hour for picking up a shift, get larger raises, can have CNA's do the tasks you don't have time for, and are only in charge of a few patients, not the whole floor. I hope this all makes sense-sooooo many people have asked me. Comment below if you have more questions! :) I am no Dietitician or Nutritionist, but I have taken 6 classes on the subject now so I feel pretty adequate to post about this. BUT, this is what I am doing, and what has been working for ME. :) It all started with my husband betting his friend he could lose more weight than him in a month! Movie tickets was the wager, so we took it seriously HAHA! But we really did, movie tickets lost or not. I truly believe in whole foods and have always had a passion for eating well and right. This has just been taken to the next level, still keeping it simple. All we have been doing is NO sugar and minimal carbs; that's it! It's been as easy as it sounds! We ended up winning with Ian losing 13 pounds and I lost 10!
